Booktube Newbie Tag

Hi,

Welcome to my blog about books and films. I wasn't sure how to start this new blog so I figured I would do the booktube newbie tag despite this obviously not being booktube.

Why did you start this blog?
I started this blog because I used to have a book blog but I stopped using it and when I went back to revitalise it this summer I found lots of my posts very cringy so decided I'd rather have a clean slate.

What are some fun and unique things you can bring with your blog?
I am very passionate about poetry of all kinds and I often find on the online book community that poetry is rarely talked about therefore I'd like to think that I could introduce some people to a more diverse range of poetry than just 'Milk and Honey'.

What are most excited about?
This year I have slacked a bit with my reading and so I hope this will motivate me to read more. Plus when I was writing my blog before I found I was reading a much more diverse range of books rather than what I'm sticking to now.

Why do you love reading?
I love reading because it allows you to understand other people's lives and be educated on topics that don't effect you.

What book or series got you into reading?
Definitely the Magic Rainbow Fairy series.

What challenges do you think starting a Booktube channel will be most difficult to overcome?
I'm not a very organised person and therefore I think making sure I post every time I am meant to will be a challenge, especially when I am struggling for content.

When did you start reading?
I don't really remember not reading. It's always been a massive part of my life.

Where do you read?
I get a lot of reading done in the bath or in the car when we have long journeys.

What kind of books do you like to read?
I mostly read YA contemporary books when I am reading fiction but when I listen to audiobooks I  usually listen to non-fiction particularly written by comedians I love. Plus I read as much poetry as I can get my hands on.
